I would like some advice on pouring my concrete floor this late in the year. I am concerned that if the house for some reason does not get weathered in and it gets cold early, that the floor will be subject to heaving, ruining the whole floor. I will also have in-floor heating installed in this concrete. Any advice will be appreciated

All masons do things differently, but if you have a good and thick gravel base that is tamped down and leveled out, you should be fine. We used 2B about 6-8" thick and tamped it, rebar throughout, vapor barrier throughout then poured the concrete about 5" thick. Of course depending upon the levelness of the floor, you'll usually run 4-6" in low and high spots. If you have decent concrete and a good finisher, you should be fine. The mason if he is good will adjust the mixture accordingly and a solid batch processing plant will be able to help you and make sure you get the right mixture of cement.

Just curious how you made out with your concrete work? We started pouring our basement in mid-December and are just about to pour our garage and porch footers today, with the slabs expected to be poured early next week. I have been very nervous about the weather affecting the concrete. We lucked out with a warm snap, but the rain has been really holding us up from any fast progress. We have framers ready to go once the concrete work is finished, so with the first floor on ASAP hopefully that will help us not have any issues with the basement.
