Being exhausted from the work of a couple of days ago I decided to let the floor set up while I went about getting some other tasks done. Today after work I went up to check things out.

The floor looks pretty good, all things considered. As I'd suspected I'll want to finish it off with some kind of leveling/sealing work, probably some roofing rubber that would level things out and cover up coarser bits of the concrete work (some of that stuff seemed like pure cement, while some had a fair amount of pea gravel in it). I'll need to ponder this a bit yet.
While at the shed I went ahead and measured the walls in preparation for one of the next phases, drywall work. As with many other things I found myself with several leftover sheets of drywall at the end of Tanglewood's construction, and they've been sitting in a corner of the garage awaiting a purpose ever since. With this new shed in need of walls they now have a purpose, and I can begin cutting the sheets this week so they're ready to go up this coming weekend assuming I get the floor figured out.
I'll also be updating Solar Leroy on where things are, since soon it'll be time for him to come up to move everything from the old shed into the new one. I'm guessing that's a good two weeks out at least (possibly a Labor Day weekend project?) but it won't hurt for him to come up and get a feel for where we are.
