A good day, as the long-awaited replacement window arrived on site! Colleen had driven up specifically to meet the guys delivering it (they wouldn't let her take it up herself for warranty reasons, and besides it's both large and heavy).

While awaiting their arrival, she puttered around doing cleanup and sorting out tools that had gotten scattered all over the garage. Many of them came with various sets of tools that look funny when missing (for example) their hammer, and so she had some fun in discovering where miscellaneous bits had gone. Apparently we discovered at least three ways to hide a Phillips screwdriver.
Eventually the window arrived around mid-afternoon. We had thought it might have shown up a couple of days ago, but it
turned out to have been "temporarily misplaced" in transit (whatever
that means). After it was dropped off, the windows guys confirmed the measurements one more time (they were good) and left. Colleen then loaded up a couple more bags of construction trash and headed back home.
Of course there's more Punch List stuff to work, but we'll get there. Not all of it is critically high priority, and a couple of things (such as the re-pour of the patio slab) can't happen until summertime anyway.
Power's on, heat is working fine. Tanglewood is doing a great job of handling the winter cold, even when it's not at "living temps"--we'll probably start moving up some furniture and such this weekend if things don't turn nasty on us.
