Thank goodness for a late summer sunsets as the stucco fellows finished with the first coat for the stucco last night about 8:30. They had to be dog tired. They should be back today to begin the second, or "brown" coat. I've asked that they apply the brown to the areas above the roof by Friday to allow as much time for curing as possible before the color coat and we want that area to be finished first so the roofers can begin.
More stone is being delivered this morning and the stone guys will be back to work on the outside of the staircase. Other than trim around the windows, they should be pretty much finished with that today.
Framer slowly is getting the stairs done with the second section done today. After that, one more to go.
I'm back to plumbing, cutting in the island vents the inspector wanted. Going slow as much of my time has also been attending to the other people working.

Backside of the house with the stucco and stone. Stucco is dark as it is fresh cement. Will be much lighter today as it cures and dries. |
