With the first floor on ICFs done, it is time to begin the first framing. They should show up in the morning if things go according to plan. Trusses will show up late in the morning. How they get them in with the electric trench open, I'm not sure. Concrete John called me on Saturday. Said they didn't get four anchor bolts set when they were finishing the final concrete. We discussed options and decided I would drill 3/4" holes, cut the horizontal leg off 5/8" anchor bolts and epoxy them in the holes. But I'll have to wait until the framers bring a generator with them, since we don't have electricity.

By the way, back to the electric trench. Seems like the excavator's crew hit their 40 hours about an hour into trenching. That's why they left. ??? Then why start? But he has promised they will get back on it tomorrow, the electrician will bring down the conduit and lay it and as soon as the utility inspects it'll get covered up. That could possibly be by the end of the day tomorrow. We'll see.
I need to get the first floor of the elevator shaft built by Wednesday as four of the floor trusses sit on the front wall of the shaft. I should be able to start that as soon as I get the anchor bolts set. We are shooting to have the floor trusses and subfloor in by the end of the day Friday, so Concrete John can begin the second floor on Monday. He has a full tractor trailer load of ICFs coming in Monday. As that size truck won't make it up to the lot, it'll have to be shuttled from down below.
