Boy they were moving today! But it was amazing how many details needed finishing. Two outside corners needed to be braced, five long lintels needed to be made up, finishing of attaching one-sided blocks and lots of bracing yet. When I was last up there at 3:00 pm, they were planning on working till 7:00, but shortly afterwards a rainstorm came through. Storms normally only last an hour or so here in the summer, and true to form, this one did as well, but I'm not sure they went back afterwards. Concrete is scheduled for 9:00 am. That gives them three hours to finish it off. I still need to place a couple of pipes in the walls. Got most of them done today, but lost access to the scaffold ladder as the crew continued at a feverish pace. I'll get there at 6:00 to make sure I get them in.
Waterproofing membranes, weep screed and roof underlayment I ordered from Canada arrived today, four pallets of material. So we'll be good to go on getting that (not the roof underlayment) on as soon as the exterior braces are taken off around the 12th, which happens to be when my son-in-law (Muton Busting house) and brother-in-law arrive for two weeks of help! I know what they will be doing!
