Well, that's a bit of an overreach...I actually broke the TorchStar site on Amazon.

A bit of backstory. As part of the general upgrade from CFL to LED lights everywhere I've been doing some searching for a GU-10 (track) light that would work for me. The halogens are great at throwing out light from the sides, which nicely lit up my decorate glass on my tracks quite well.
However, the first batch of LEDs I installed didn't do that, and I didn't realize that until after I'd bought them. They're fine lights but left the shrouds all dark, no side light at all.
It took me a while to track down what would work in those fixtures:
These were bright enough and priced rationally, and there was a review that actually cited the side lighting ability! I ordered one to test immediately and was very happy with it.
So I took a count of all the affected track lights and came up with a need for 40 bulbs. That's quite pricey even at the Amazon list, but it turned out there were packs of 10 for slightly less that would work. So I went ahead and bit the bullet and ordered four packages of 10 bulbs...
...and ran the TorchStar store right out of stock!
They've been quite nice about it though and will be sending them over two-day mail once their stock is replenished here in a week or so.
Fun stuff. Worth it to replace those halogens though!
