So, didn't feel like working on the plumbing and getting the inspection items fixed till yesterday as it was cold and I didn't feel like getting wet. We went ahead and did some of the fireblocking and running more recessed lights.  Cassidy and Todd have pretty much taken the job over.  So I could moving to the plumbing, I showed Todd yesterday how to connect the lights himself, and how to connect back to the panel.  It has now evolved to the point where I can tell the, what lines need to be run and then walk away and they can take care of it.  They are doing a great job.  He and Cassidy set lights in the hall, and dining room and set a box and support for the chandelier.  That has allowed me to get on with the plumbing.  I am S-0-0-0-0-0 tired of that.  But I'm just about done.  Got an hour of work to do tying up loose ends and hopefully no leaks.  It took some doing trying to reroute the necessary things, but not really a difficult.  But as it is supposed to get close to zero later this week, I think I'll wait for warmer weather.  This is the South?  I've already put windshield washer fluid in the traps so they don't freeze and break.  Don't need to redo that.  I do need to make sure any metal sections are drained in the water supply.  As soon as I confirm no leaks, I'll call the inspector out again.  I shouldn't have any issues this time.

Started running some OSB on the 2nd floor floor joists ( first floor ceiling joists) behind the knee walls today.  I wasn't going to but he more I thought about it, it's easier to seal than trying other solutions.  A little hard to work in the space, but I'm cutting length wise and it goes in pretty well.  The area I was working on this afternoon had some of the reroute plumbing the needed to be installed over it.  Better to do when it is non existent than wait till in and then try to get the sheets in around it.  No, it wasn't my ADD kicking in. ;-)

Recessed lights up in the kitchen. A total of 16. Seems like a huge over kill, but when you go online and look at the calculators, that's what we come up with. We'll use LEDs now that the price has come down. You can find name brand with the trim ring for the cans, for around 20 bucks. 9 watts each. Ten of them use less than a single 100 watt incandescent did. Amazing!
