As of today, the roof is ready for sheathing inspection (Monday), after which the roofers will begin drying us in.
The framers are putting up the wall insulation boards and will be doing the interior framing soon.
Windows are due to be delivered sometime today (And speaking of windows, they told us between 6:30 am and 3:30 pm. um, thanks.).
The concrete workers finally fixed the off-kilter window, the mistake on the master slider, and the off-level generator slab. But apparently they decided to take Jason's brand new sledgehammer and consider it a fair trade. He's not too happy about that, needless to say.
Yesterday night we picked up our keyed entries (front, garage to laundry, and garage to exterior) along with most of our passage and bedroom/bath levers. We ended up going with an upgrade, which, while not a huge sum, is more expensive but also will lend itself to a more custom look and feel. We also ended up upgrading our roofing to a 50yr architectural shingle that we hope will have a lot more "pop" than a standard 30yr architectural. At this point, we're into this project for so much that we might as well do it right. As long as it doesn't result in bankruptcy. lol.
Jason and his dad are installing the windows today and tomorrow, so hopefully we'll have some pics of that for you soon!
In the meantime, here's 2 more framing pics- please excuse my glasses and general scrubbiness ;)
