My framers are still trying to figure out whether or not they like SIPs.
The roof has gone pretty well, the major problems we are having are not the size of the SIP panels, but rather the swelling of the OSB on the panels due to excessive moisture during storage.
They're doing a great job and it looks REALLY AWESOME!

If you don't like such limitations of OSB SIPs, metal SIPs don't swell and are lighter weight for easier positioning. The metal SIPs should also prove to be more durable and less likely to be damaged by moisture exposure. You can still get the benefits of SIPs, just consider alternative SIP designs.
