Good Morning!

 This is our first journal entry. We are the Scott Family and currently reside in Alabama. My husband and I and our youngest daughter have a small all natural farm here. We are Christians and we are so very thankful to be able to do what we do. My husband has been offered a job in SC and after much prayer and contemplation we have decided to make the move. So we are making our home here in Alabama market ready and Lord willing we will begin our journey to SC.

 I came across the name of the OB book on a yahoo thread I read. So after presenting the idea to my husband he gave permission for me to buy it. I have read it and I must admit I am still a bit concerned about such an undertaking. But given the fact that as a Christian I know that the Lord will direct our path I am willing to do what I can to undertake such a task. My role is to research the matter thoroughly and present it to my husband. He weighs heavily upon my diligence in fact finding and I hope to learn much from you all.

I see many ladies doing the same and many husbands just like mine who trust them. After all we are a team and we need one another to succeed. So if there are any South Carolinians out there who know of a piece of land fairly cheap but good for livestock and gardening let us know. Our budget will be small, not like the several hundred thousands many have built. It will take more time since we are doing it on a totally cash basis.

I will now begin the planning phase as instructed and Lord willing I will have lots of help!
