My Goal

Hi again.

With the help of my family and their support, I am in the process of buliding our home on a peice of property in PA. We purchased this 1.5 acres in 2003 and sat on it for some time. My wife worked with an archetect to develope the design and layout of this house. My background is in the electrical field and been around the construction industry for the past 20 years. I work for a local water company as a supervisor and operate my electrical contracting business in PA and NJ.

I work on the house after work and on weekends. There are some tasks that are just too much for me to perform so I sub out this work. The items at this time I have subed out are; excavating, foundation / basement walls pouring of concrete, house framing, roofing, pouring of concrete flooring.

I have been able to perform all the other tasks up to this time. I am going to do my best to tell this story and provide the necessary pics.

Well hello there world. I have been using myspace for this exact purpose. I'm glad to find this site and cant wait to keep up with this blog. Kinda new at the blog thing. Okay here we go!
